I looked all over tarnation to find a tile manufacturer that could make my vision in ceramic tiles. I think I called or emailed just about every tile company on the world wide web. No luck. One day I was driving home from our wallpaper manufacturer and drove by a modest place with the sign: Tile Manufacturer. Enter through Gate. I opened the gate and there were huge kilns blazing away in 100 degree heat, rows and rows of clay cut into neat squares, and vats of raw clay. They did everything I wanted: custom glazes, exclusive molds, matte tiles. I was in heaven. Tile inspires me.
